The biggest news on this year's Google I/O 17 was that Kotlin has become the official language on Android. Google finally heard the voice of the community which has been calling for the support of Kotlin for several years already.

The new offices are already occupied and filled with activity. Being together is certainly not something we avoid, no matter where we spend time. Take a peek us, at least virtually. Or stop over in person :)

eMan has been an official partner of the Faculty of Information Technology at CTU since February. We hope that this will deepen our existing cooperation with this important Czech educational institution, bringing us even closer to its students.

Even in Hradec we are right at home. That’s why we’ve decided to strengthen awareness of our company in this region. On 21 February we paid a visit to the Faculty of Informatics and Management, where the 2017 HIT Career Job Fair was being held.

So, the end of the year is here again and eMan has a challenging but also great year under its belt. The merger with Jablotron, further significant growth, almost doubling the size of our team, new projects, moving the main headquarters to Holešovice as well as the opening of regional offices.

In the next installment of our series on the topic of Xamarin, we will be delving into an introduction of the structure of the Android project, which is completely different from iOS.

Since November 14th you can find us at our new adress in Prague 7, Holešovice. Our team is still growing, so we really needed new offices. These new offices provide us with the required space and comfort for our work and relaxation.

The first of a series of developer meetings called eMan Dev Meetup were held in the premises of our new branch in Hradec Králové earlier this week. Roughly two dozen Internet of Things and technology enthusiasts came to verify that embarking on building a smart home by yourself is not difficult.

eMan is on the move again after three years. We are growing and our team is constantly expanding. The existing premises in Prague's Strašnice are already pretty cramped. The lighting-fast move will take place in the second half of September. We're really excited about the new premises in Holešovice.
