The brief
- Prepare the technical specification to the quality required
- Align expectations inside ŠKODA AUTO a.s. and prepare the delivery
- Coordinate the test teams and verify the quality of the app in limited time
- Adapt the app’s graphics so that they follow the features of the parent app (Volkswagen Connect®) while matching the ŠKODA design principles
Our work
We put together an integration team responsible for project management, the graphics, the business analysis and product testing.
The result is the MyŠKODA Connect LITE app, which reads the car’s data over Bluetooth from a data port (a dongle, a dataplug). It lets owners of older cars, from 2008 onwards, keep the most important information about their vehicle in their phone.
Among other things, the ŠKODA Connect LITE app offers driving style analysis, journey recording, driving statistics and their evaluation, contacting the service centre, an overview of the car’s most important data, fuel consumption analysis and roadside assistance.
In the second phase of the project we will be responsible for supporting the app, for new features and for further integrations.
